"I chose to attend EIU because I loved the overall feel of the school! It really drew me in when I first saw it in photos, so I just knew I would fit right in the second I stepped onto campus. ... I'm very grateful that this school offers exactly that."Karen Barbosa-BarronClass of 2028, Neuroscience major
EIU's Neuroscience Minor is designed for students who want to understand how the brain contributes to mental and behavioral phenomena without completing the full Neuroscience B.S. It can complement majors in psychology, biological sciences, communication disorders and sciences, philosophy, mathematics, computer science, health-related fields and other areas where questions about cognition, behavior or the nervous system matter.
