"I chose to attend EIU because a majority of the English teachers that I was close with and admired during my middle and high school years attended EIU, so I knew that this school would be able to provide me with the education and skills to become a great teacher like them. I also appreciated the affordability of EIU and its close proximity to my hometown in case I needed to commute back home for any reason."
