"I chose to attend EIU because of its proximity to my hometown. I live only an hour away from Charleston, so any time that I need to drive home for an event, or simply to grab something that I have forgotten, the campus is close enough that the drive hardly feels daunting. ... It's a lot larger than the village that I call home, however, it is still small enough that I still know my way around."Addison O'BrienPsychology | Class of 2026
EIU's Psychology B.A. approaches psychology as a natural science, a social science and a profession. It is a strong fit for students who are curious about people, willing to question assumptions and interested in using evidence to understand behavior, emotion and thought.
