You were so kind to come by twice to make certain all the electronics / computers/ sound were ready to go and looked good. It is so nice to work with you and hope to do so more often in the future! My daughter - along with dozens of other local children - attended the EIU Department of Theatre's inaugural Junior Musical Theatre Camp over the past couple of weeks and I can't say enough about what an extraordinary experience Anne, who directed the camp, and her assembled staff provided for these kids. The camp culminated in two wonderful stage performances that obviously benefited from a number of talented young performers but also undoubtedly from a lot of effort and care from the adults involved to make it all come together so seamlessly in the matter of just a couple weeks. Kudos to Anne and to EVERYONE else who was involved! Bringing these kids onto campus early and giving them these sorts of memories will pay dividends down the road when they're deciding what they want to do after high school, I'm certain of it.

Alex has been such a guiding light for those of us who are new to our roles in HR. She is knowledgeable, supportive, and patient, and she always has time for anyone who needs her. She has a tremendous work ethic, and EIU is better because she's here. I'm so thankful I get to work with her and learn from her every day.

Thank you for your leadership with the EIU Benefit team and projects in recent months. Your steady approach has been so helpful to the staff and employees at EIU. I am grateful for you and all that you have done to help Business Affairs.

Thank you for your constant leadership in Human Resources over the 16 months. HR is better and EIU is better because of all that you do and have done for the employees. I am grateful for you and all that you have done to help Business Affairs.

Mindy has no shortage of work and responsibilities, but still finds time to assist us in so many ways--meeting with our potential donors, attending department alumni events, and providing help and advice on scholarships. Thank you Mindy for all you do for EIU and for us. We are fortunate to have you here.

Thank you once again for going above and beyond for me David, and for our Teaching, Learning and Foundations team. Our MAT Orientation should go really well thanks to your taking the time to show me how to work the OWL system. You are a gem, thank you, David!

Thank you so much April, for making the time to give an impromtu tour of the College of Education / TLF to the Effingham Jr. High - Childcare Camp that came to EIU's Campus today! You not only gave a group of young people information and hope for the future but, put good will out into the community for EIU. And during these trying times, that is win / win. Melissa is amazing! Her support during the IHSA payroll has been nothing short of incredible. Her responsiveness, patience, and ability to juggle a million messages—all while staying on top of her regular duties—did not go unnoticed by me or anyone in our department. Her dedication, attention to detail, and calming presence made the chaotic process run so much smoother. Melissa, we are so grateful for you. Because of your help, we made it through successfully, and we couldn’t have done it without you! Thank you for being such a rockstar! 🌟

I would like to sincerely thank Stacey for her exceptional work ethic and dedication to learning the intricacies of her role. She consistently goes above and beyond, never hesitating to ask thoughtful questions and seek out the right answers. Her proactive approach, attention to detail, and eagerness to support others have made a meaningful impact on this side of campus. Stacey brings positivity, reliability, and a strong sense of teamwork to everything she does, and I (we) are truly lucky to have her in the role of student employment!

Mark was an awesome colleague when he stopped what he was doing to make time for a castle tour at the last minute! We learned so many incredible facts about the history of EIU, Old Main, and general folklore. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity and we're so happy to have great people like Mark here at EIU. Thanks Mark, it was a wonderful day that you made extra special for our retiring colleague!

I’d like to recognize Heidi for her outstanding support and guidance to the Employment Team over the past several months. As we’ve navigated processes with an all-new team, Heidi has been a vital resource—offering historical insight on budgeting, position control, Banner HR procedures, and more. She’s played a key role in helping us develop formal training materials, all while answering countless questions. Heidi takes great pride in doing things right and is a true steward of our standard operating procedures. Thank you, Heidi—we truly appreciate your expertise and support!

Thank you so much, Tristum for helping me understand how the library works for faculty and staff! You were a big help to me this morning, and I sure appreciate it. So excited to get to utilize the library now, thank you for all your help, Tristum!

Thanks for working with Biological Sciences on our various events! The teachers mini-conference this spring (as an example) was wonderfully organized.

Thanks for everything you do to put on the best shows possible at Doudna. You have helped Biological Sciences with many events over the years, for which we are extremely grateful!

BIG shoutout to Molly for guiding me through my new role here the past couple months! She is always so supportive and available with anything I may need or have questions about. Thanks Molly :)

BIG Shout Out to Brian for coming to PPCC's rescue the day before Commencement. We had a machine that was down and FPM was able to dispatch a few people who identified we needed a switch fixed. Brian came over to put a the switch on our machine which made it so we could finish our projects that were needed for Saturdays Commencement Ceremony.

Brian also fixed PPCC's Laminator. The Laminator is a very big part of our business and Brian has worked diligently to get it back up and running.

Our FPM people are extremely valuable to this campus. I appreciate you, Thank you!
