In this workshop, we'll use QGIS to examine the distribution of crimes in the city of Chicago. In the process, we'll learn how to create, manage, map and analyze data in QGIS. To get started:
- Create a folder for this workshop
- Download the qgis_workshop_data.zip data file and unzip
- Open QGIS Desktop (this workshop was made for version 2.18.4, "Las Palmas")
- Click Project >> Save and save the project to your workshop folder
