Welcome

As the fall semester draws near, the faculty and staff of the Department of Counseling and Higher Education (CHE) are excitedly preparing to welcome you to campus. We look forward to meeting each of you in person and beginning this new chapter together. A heartfelt special welcome goes out to our international students joining us this year—we are honored to have you as part of our community.

This mandatory orientation will be an excellent opportunity for you to meet your peers, faculty, and staff, and to get acquainted with the resources and community that CHE offers.

Q: What should I bring to the orientation?

A: Carry a notebook and pen for taking notes during the orientation sessions.

Q: Is the orientation mandatory?

A: Yes, the orientation is mandatory for all new students.

Q: Can family members attend the orientation?

A: Unfortunately, the orientation is for students only, but there will be other events throughout the semester that family members can attend.

Q: What should I wear?

A: The dress code is smart casual to business casual.
