The Psychology department offers a selection of online courses that fulfill the requirements for the psychology major, typically in two years. Our online degree completion program is best suited for a student who has completed an Associate degree (or at least some college), Introductory Psychology, and College Algebra (or Elementary Statistics).
It is possible to complete the psychology major entirely online. The majority of the other coursework required for graduation may also be completed online or by taking some courses at a local community college (CC) and transferring the credit to EIU.
Students in the online degree completion program have the same opportunities to participate in internship and undergraduate research experiences.
