EIU Department of Mathematics and Computer Science

University Math Challenge

Every semester the department offers 2-3 challenging, fun, and unique math problems to be solved as part of the University Math Challenge.
Problems will be posted here, as well as in the department and e-mailed to all majors in the department. 
Correct and detailed solutions can win up to $50.
Rules for submission will appear with each problem.
