Purpose

The purpose of the Political Science Association of EIU is to provide all interested students (regardless of major) with opportunities to engage in thoughtful discussion and examination of political and policy issues at the local, national, and global levels. PSA seeks to foster awareness of career and professional pathways in government, law, public service, and related fields, while also encouraging student involvement in civic engagement, leadership, and community-based political activities. By creating an inclusive space for dialogue and participation, PSA aims to promote informed citizenship and a deeper understanding of politics in practice.
