Subject: Invitation to Participate in EIU Student Emergency Preparedness Survey
Dear EIU Student,
You are invited to participate in a research study being conducted as part of a graduate project in the Public Health and Nutrition Department at Eastern Illinois University, under the supervision of Dr. Aimee Janssen-Robinson.
The purpose of this study is to assess emergency preparedness knowledge, confidence in responding to emergencies (self-efficacy), prior training, and communication preferences among EIU students. The information collected may help improve campus emergency preparedness education and communication strategies.
Participation involves completing an anonymous online survey that will take approximately 10–15 minutes. Your participation is completely voluntary. You may choose not to participate or stop at any time without penalty. Your decision to participate or not will not affect your grades, academic standing, or access to university services.
To be eligible, you must be currently enrolled at Eastern Illinois University and be 18 years of age or older.
