EIU Community,
I am pleased to share that EIU will officially announce and celebrate our next President in an on-campus event at 3 p.m. Friday, February 3. If you are able, we encourage you to join your EIU colleagues, community leaders, and attendant members of the board in welcoming EIU’s 13th President. The event is open to the public and to members of the media.
As we prepare to welcome EIU’s incoming President, I want to take a moment to offer my gratitude to our campus and our Coles County community for their input, guidance, and support during the search and selection process. And on behalf of the entire board, I wish to express our most sincere appreciation to every member of the search committee who enthusiastically aided in making the Presidential search and selection process engaging, efficient, and professional at every turn.
We look forward to celebrating alongside you as we announce Eastern Illinois University’s 13th President February 3. Finally, please know every member of the board is incredibly grateful for each of your past, present, and future contributions to EIU. Your dedication to Eastern’s best and brightest future will be a vital guidepost in helping our University and its new President build a foundation for our continued success in East Central Illinois and beyond.
