Greeks and Treats October 31
The fun won’t end when the weekend does, as EIU will host its annual Greeks and Treats event Monday, October 31 in The Egg at Greek Court from 5 to 7 p.m. Eastern Illinois University’s Office of Fraternity and Sorority Programs, in conjunction with Eastern’s Office of Housing and Dining Services and Greek Court, invite the community to have a spooky good time as EIU hosts this popular annual event.
Coordinators extend an invitation to both its EIU and local communities to visit EIU’s Greek Court—more commonly called “The Egg”—just east of the corner of Roosevelt Drive and Ninth Street on EIU’s Charleston, IL campus. There, participants can enjoy trick-or-treating, games and Halloween-themed crafts in a family-friendly and safe environment. Free parking is available in the Ninth Street parking lot at the northeast corner of Roosevelt Drive and Ninth Street. Participating families are encouraged to bring dry/canned food goods to the event, which will help support the EIU Campus Food Pantry’s support of students who may be challenged by food insecurity.
