EIU Comic Con at Booth Library in March, logo contest kicks off event

(Charleston, IL) – Eastern Illinois University will hold its first Comic Con event at Booth Library from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 28.

EIU Comic Con will include a variety of activities and performances, including an "Artists Alley," event speakers, other cosplay participants, an escape room, workshops, games, vendor displays and more. All EIU faculty and student groups are encouraged to participate.

Additionally, EIU students are encouraged to enter the EIU Comic Con logo contest. The contest calls for students to use their art and design skills to create an original logo to promote EIU’s upcoming March Comic Con. Those who wish to submit an entry can view the contest guidelines at https://eiu.libguides.com/logocontest.  Entries should be submitted in .pdf format before the January 17, 2020 deadline.
