(Charleston, IL) -- Secretary of State Jesse White is alerting Eastern Illinois University students, faculty and staff, as well as community residents, that office services will be on campus Tuesday, April 9. White’s office will provide certain driver and vehicle services on campus from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Bridge Lounge of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Union.
“Students, faculty and staff can show their pride in their university by displaying the EIU collegiate license plate on their vehicle,” said White. “This is a great example of how my office can work with institutions to make these transactions more convenient on campus.”
On campus, the Secretary of State’s office services include:
Motorists wishing to renew their driver’s license may do so up to one year in advance of their license’s expiration date. Acceptable forms of payment include personal checks, cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover credit and debit cards.
