Cornebise named Interim Dean of the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences

Eastern Illinois University has named Dr. Michael Cornebise interim dean of the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences. Cornebise, who serves as associate dean of the College and professor of Geography, has been a member of the EIU faculty for many years. His leadership has helped advance interdisciplinary collaboration, support faculty and student success, and strengthen the College's academic programs. As interim dean, he will continue building on that work while guiding the College's broad range of disciplines.
