I just moved to Washington state with my husband and I picked up a class at Columbia Basin College. They called me in for an informal interview and I was hired on the spot. They were really enthusiastic about my credentials, particularly with the teaching and tutoring experience I had during grad school. And they're already encouraging me to apply for the full-time, tenure-track positions they're expecting to open up in December. This area is absolutely booming and in need of highly qualified teachers and college professors!
